Project estimate budget report
Overview
The Project Estimate Budget Report provides a financial overview of a project’s estimated labor and expenses. It allows users to analyze budget distribution across labor categories, tasks, and expense groups, including VAT calculations and quantity summaries.

Filters
General options
| Filter | Description |

| Projects | Select the project for which the report will be generated. (Mandatory) |
| Split columns by | Defines how the report data is split into columns. Options: |

- Nothing | | Tax | Applies VAT (or equivalent tax) to the totals displayed at the bottom of the report. |
Labor options

Report output
The generated report displays two main sections: Labor categories and Expenses, followed by subtotals and grand totals.
Layout description
| Section | Details |

| Labor categories | Lists all estimated labor by selected grouping (e.g., task or labor category), including rate and total amount. |
| Expenses | Displays all project expenses grouped as defined in the filters. If “Display Quantity” is enabled, the quantity column appears. |
| Subtotals and Totals | Shows subtotal per section (labor and expenses), plus Subtotal, VAT, and Total at the bottom of the report. |

Notes
- The report can be exported as PDF or CSV for sharing or analysis.
- Works correctly with tasks and their subtasks. Times work independently when the parent task has a different Labor Category than its subtask.
