Prebuilt reports
Prebuilt reports are reports that are implemented directly in the application code and shipped as part of the product or as part of a plugin.
These reports provide predefined logic and are designed to address common operational and financial reporting needs.
Unlike custom reports, prebuilt reports:
- have fixed behavior
- are not configurable through the UI
- follow a predefined data structure
- may contain internal logic that cannot be reproduced through the custom report builder
Prebuilt reports are typically used for standardized workflows such as:
- timesheet summaries
- budget tracking
- project financial reports
- utilization monitoring
- project status tracking
Each prebuilt report may belong to a specific report group, such as:
- Timesheets
- Financial
- Utilization
- Project management
