Assigning and completing tasks
Tasks can be assigned to users, updated over time, and completed when the work is done.
What you can do
- Assign tasks to the user responsible for completing the work.
- Use comments or descriptions to clarify expectations.
- Update percent complete or status when appropriate.
- Complete the task only when the work and required documentation are finished.
- Use subscriptions so stakeholders receive relevant notifications.
Environmental consulting example
A project manager may assign report review to a senior scientist and complete the task only after comments are resolved.
